Introduction
Ceria stabilized zirconia is also a high quality grinding media. CSZ grinding media has the highest density among our ceramic grinding media. Because of its high density, it may be used to mill high viscosity compounds.
Its physical properties like hardness, toughness, chemical & wear resistance are very similar to that of yttria stabilized zirconia grinding media, so CSZ grinding media also has superior grinding efficiency and is recommended for the use in conventional horizontal bead mills but as well in high energy bead mills.

- Very good roundness and polished surface, extremely high wear resistance with practically no product contamination
- High density>6.2 g/cm3, higher grinding efficiency and reduced grinding time
- High hardness and wear resistance, 25-45 times more than glass bead, 5 times more than zirconium silicate beads
- Longer service life than glass beads, magnesia stabilized zirconia beads, alumina beads or zirconium silicate beads
- The microstructure of Ce-TZP (TZP=tetragonal zirconia polycrystal) ceramic grinding beads is characterized by ultra fine crystalline ceramic particles
- High chemical resistance to all acids, bases, solvents and other corrosive fluids, suitable for wet operations
