Introduction
Pure chromium oxide is known as a hard, but relatively brittle, and good corrosion resistant protective coating. One of most well known applications of pure aluminium oxide, is anilox rolls for the printing industry. The addition of TiO2 (3%) often combined with SiO2 (5%), results in an reduction of coating brittleness and allows for more dense coatings. Combinations with other oxides is also available as per clients’ request.
Properties
- Good abrasion, sliding wear and friction resistance

- Coating resistant to acids
- Pure Cr2O3 can be laser engraved
