Introduction

Tech Ceramic has developed a wide range of setter plates made from alumina, zirconia, zirconia coated alumina, max working temperature can be 1800℃. Custom size, shape and large size plates are available, thickness of setters under 1mm are also available per request.

Setters For Sintering MIM Parts

Setters made from high purity alumina and zirconia are with high density, resistant to creep at high temperature, no volatilization of other impurities, long life, fine surface, high strength, not easy to deformation. Thin wall thickness setters bigger than 0.5mm are available both in alumina and zirconia.

Setters For Sintering LTCC

This setter is specially designed for sintering Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics (LTCC) for debinding process. Featured with light weight, extremly high porosity, very low coefficient of thermal expansion, good roughness and flatness.

LTCC will not adhere to the setters during the debinding process because of the high purity of raw materials without active elements. Replace with our setters on your kiln furniture to save your costs now.

Setters For Zirconia Ferrules

This setter with V groove is specially designed for ferrules and tubes, very good finish and high precision V groove, ensure ceramic products sintered with good finish and precise size and shape.

According to the size of customer’s products, customize V groove setters can be produced.

Setters For MLCC

Tech Ceramic offers zirconia coated alumina setters and zirconia setters for sintering MLCC. The zirconia setters have excellent adaptability to soft magnetic materials, and can effectively avoid the formation of crystals at the bottom of high-grade magnetic cores such as high-frequency and high-conducting cores, thereby improving the electrical properties of the core. Also widely used in chip capacitors MLCC, wafer capacitors, NTC, PTC and other industries, helping to improve the electrical performance of electronic components.

Yttria stabilized zirconia setters have a longer service life than calcium stabilized zirconia, we also have a special grade of yttria stabilized zirconia setter specially designed for sintering Zinc oxide multilayer ceramic chip varistors (MLVs), setters have a coefficient of thermal expansion close to the zinc MLV, there will be no adhere to the setters and setter plates will be not deformed or cracked because there will be no thermal stress during sintering.
